SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) -- Jake Cave tripled and singled, scoring two runs as the Rochester Red Wings topped the Syracuse Mets 9-3 on Tuesday.

Brent Rooker singled twice with two RBIs for Rochester.

Syracuse tied the game 1-1 in the third after Matt Kemp hit an RBI single, bringing home Arismendy Alcantara.

Leading 3-2, the Red Wings added to their lead with six runs in the seventh inning, including two RBI each from Wilin Rosario and Rooker.

Zack Littell (3-2) got the win with two innings of scoreless relief while Syracuse starter Chris Mazza (1-2) took the loss in the International League game.

Luis Guillorme singled three times for the Mets. Alcantara singled twice, also stealing a base.
