CENTRAL

AUSTIN: Water stained; 79-86 degrees; 0.73 feet low. Black bass are fair on Green Pumpkin Magic Senkos, Texas rigs and Bandit 200s. Sunfish are fair to good on cut nightcrawlers and dough bait. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.

BASTROP: Water stained; 81-85 degrees. Black bass are fair on chartreuse crankbaits. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on cheesebait and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

BELTON: Water murky; 80-84 degrees; 1.23 feet high. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits and soft plastic worms early and late. Hybrid striper are fair on chrome slabs with bucktails. White bass are fair but small on minnows and chrome slabs with bucktails at night. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on trotlines baited with snails and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are fair on juglines baited with live perch.

BROWNWOOD: Water stained; 79-83 degrees; 0.05 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are good on Pop-R's and crankbaits in 12-16 feet, and on minnows and jigs under lights at night. Crappie are good on minnows and white or shad Li'l Fishies in 9-12 feet. Channel catfish are good on trotlines and juglines baited with cheesebait and shrimp in the river mouths. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with cut perch and shad in 8-12 feet.

BUCHANAN: Water murky; 79-83 degrees; 0.01 feet high. Black bass are good on watermelon topwaters, chartreuse Whacky Sticks, and Texas rigged green pumpkin Scoundrel worms on secondary points and ledges in 10-22 feet. Striped bass are fair on small Rat-L-Traps and trolling crankbaits in 1-5 feet. White bass are fair on Pirk Minnows and Li'l Fishies over rock piles in 15-20 feet. Crappie are good on minnows and chartreuse tube jigs over brush piles. Channel catfish are good on live bait and stinkbait. Yellow and blue catfish are good on juglines and trotlines baited with perch upriver.

CANYON LAKE: Water stained; 80-84 degrees; 1.39 feet high. Black bass are fair on Shad Raps, Rat-L-Traps, and buzzbaits upriver near laydowns along banks in 5-10 feet early and late. Striped bass are fair on watermelon plum colored crankbaits on main lake points. White bass are fair on live bait. Smallmouth bass are fair on smoke grubs and watermelon tubes on jigheads in 8-18 feet. Crappie are fair on Curb's crappie jigs and live minnows upriver over brush piles in 12 feet. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are good on trotlines and juglines baited with live bait.

COLEMAN: Water stained; 79-83 degrees; 0.26 feet low. Black bass are good on watermelon Rat-L-Traps and spinnerbaits. Hybrid striper are good on live shad near the park. Crappie are good on minnows at night. Channel catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) No report available.

FAYETTE: Water stained. Black bass are good on shad colored spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps in 10-20 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp and stinkbait in 10-15 feet.

GRANBURY: Water stained; 80-84 degrees; 0.08 feet low. Black bass are fair on pumpkinseed soft plastics, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. Striped bass are fair on chartreuse striper jigs. White bass are fair on minnows and chartreuse spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on stinkbait, nightcrawlers, and frozen shrimp.

GRANGER: Water murky; 82-86 degrees; 0.51 feet high. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits. White bass are fair on slabs and spoons near the dam. Crappie are good on minnows and blue tube jigs in 6-15 feet. Blue catfish are good on live bait. Yellow catfish are good on live bait.

LBJ: Water stained; 81-85 degrees; 0.69 feet low. Black bass are good on watermelon soft plastic worms and topwaters, and on shad colored Rat-L-Traps along break lines in 5-15 feet early and late. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and chartreuse tube jigs over brush piles in 10 feet. Channel catfish are fair on minnows and prepared bait. Yellow and blue catfish are good on trotlines and juglines baited with live perch.

NAVARRO MILLS: Water murky; 83-87 degrees; 0.06 feet high. Black bass are good on topwaters along banks and near the boat ramps early and late. White bass are good on minnows and slabs. Crappie are good on minnows over brush piles and structure near the dam and the marina in 7-14 feet. Channel catfish are good on stinkbait. Blue catfish are fair on trotlines and juglines baited with perch and shad. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with perch and goldfish.

PROCTOR: Water murky; 79-83 degrees; 0.41 feet high. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits and crankbaits off points early and late. Striped bass are slow. White bass are good on live shad and jigging spoons. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on cut bait and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait.

SOMERVILLE: Water murky; 81-85 degrees; 10.27 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

STILLHOUSE HOLLOW: Water murky; 79-83 degrees; 0.17 feet high. Black bass are fair on shallow running crankbaits and topwaters. White bass are fair on Li'l Fishies and pet spoons. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on stinkbait and shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

TRAVIS: Water murky; 81-85 degrees; 0.12 feet low. Black bass are fair on black/chartreuse soft plastic worms and crankbaits in 10-20 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on live bait. Crappie are fair on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on stinkbait and nightcrawlers in 20-30 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

WALTER E. LONG: Water stained. Black bass are good on shad, chartreuse crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Hybrid striper are fair on shad and crankbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on nightcrawlers and frozen shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

WHITNEY: Water murky; 80-84 degrees; 0.90 feet low. Black bass are fair on watermelon spinnerbaits and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on slabs and minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on frozen shrimp and liver.

NORTHEAST

ATHENS: Water clear; 82-86 degrees; 0.42 feet high. Black bass are good on flukes, topwaters and wacky rigged Senkos. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines and prepared bait.

BENBROOK: Water stained; 83-86 degrees; 0.09 feet low. Black bass are fair on football jigs, weightless Senkos and Texas rigged creature baits. Crappie are slow on minnows. White bass are good on slabs and topwaters. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

BOB SANDLIN: Water stained; 84-87 degrees; 0.14 feet high. Black bass are fair on topwaters, shakyhead worms and Texas rigged craws. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are good on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

BONHAM: Water lightly stained; 83-65 degrees; 0.05 feet low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged creature baits, squarebill crankbaits, and topwater poppers. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

BRIDGEPORT: Water lightly stained to stained; 83-87 degrees: 0.11 feet high. Black bass are good on small plastic swimbaits, weightless Senkos and shakyhead worms. Crappie are slow on minnows. CADDO: Water muddy; 84-88 degrees; 2.10 feet high. Black bass are good on Texas rigged creature baits, buzzbaits and hollow body frogs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

CEDAR CREEK: Water lightly stained; 84-87 degrees, 0.09 feet low. Black bass are fair on football jigs, Carolina rigged worms and shakyhead worms. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines. White bass are good on slabs and topwaters. Hybrid striper are good on slabs and topwaters.

COOPER: Water stained; 85-92 degrees; 0.29 feet high. Black bass are slow on spinnerbaits, Texas rigged craws and wacky rigged Senkos. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Hybrid striper and white bass are fair on slabs.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN: Water lightly stained; 83-87 degrees; 0.15 feet high. Black bass are good on football jigs, shakyhead worms and shallow crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines.

FAIRFIELD: Water lightly stained. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged creatures, bladed jigs and spinnerbaits. No report on other species.

FORK: Water lightly stained; 84-88 degrees; 0.08 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged creature baits, football jigs and deep diving crankbaits. White and yellow bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

GRAPEVINE: Water stained; 83-87 degrees; 6.93 feet high. Black bass are fair on squarebill crankbaits, spinnerbaits and Texas rigged craws. White bass and hybrid bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

SOUTH

AMISTAD: Water stained; 88-92 degrees; 30.07 feet low. Black bass are good on topwaters, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, swimbaits, Senkos, frogs, and soft plastics. Striped bass are good on Red Fins and topwaters. White bass are fair on crankbaits, grubs, and live minnows. Crappie are slow. Catfish are good on cheesebait, shrimp, and nightcrawlers under popping corks in 3-9 feet. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

BRAUNIG: Water stained. Black bass are good on crankbaits and Rat-L-Traps near the dam. Striped bass are good on liver and perch off points. Redfish are fair on perch, shad, tilapia, crawfish, and silver spoons. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on liver, shrimp, cut bait, and cheesebait near the dam. Yellow catfish are slow.

CALAVERAS: Water stained. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are good on spoons and striper jigs near the dam and the crappie wall. Redfish are good down rigging silver and gold spoons in 10-20 feet, and on live perch, tilapia, and crawfish near the power lines. Channel catfish are excellent on liver, bait shrimp, cheesebait, and shad. Blue catfish are good on liver and shrimp near 181 Cove. Yellow catfish are slow.

CHOKE CANYON: Water stained; 84-88 degrees; 14.51 feet low. Black bass are fair on shad colored crankbaits and watermelon soft plastic worms. Crappie are fair on minnows. Drum are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on stinkbait and prepared bait in 5-15 feet. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch.

COLETO CREEK: Water stained; 80 degrees in the main lake, 102 degrees at the hot water discharge, 87-91 degrees in main lake; 0.50 feet low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse Rat-L-Traps and soft plastics. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and pink tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on live perch and shrimp in 8-10 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

CORPUS CHRISTI LAKE: Water off color; 79-86 degrees; 0.04 feet low. Black bass are good on Texas rigs, Carolina rigs and medium diving crankbaits. White bass are fair to good on live shad and slabs. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and live or dead shad.

FALCON: Water stained; 88-92 degrees; 31.00 feet low. Black bass are good on watermelon magnum flukes, jigs on ledges and drop offs, and crankbaits in 8-12 feet. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are fair on pink crappie jigs under bridges. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on cut bait and frozen shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

TEXANA: Water stained; 79-86 degrees; 0.85 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs and squarebill crankbaits. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

SOUTHEAST

CONROE: Water stained; 83-87 degrees; 0.29 feet low. Black bass are good on watermelon Carolina rigged soft plastics, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and pink tube jigs over brush piles. Catfish are good on stinkbait and live bait.

GIBBONS CREEK: Water stained. Black bass are fair on watermelon soft plastic worms, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.

HOUSTON COUNTY: Water stained; 86-90 degrees; 0.22 feet high. Black bass to 8 pounds are good on watermelon red swim jigs, topwaters, and dark blue soft plastics. Smallmouth bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows. Bream are good on live worms. Channel and blue catfish are good on shad and perch. Yellow catfish are slow.

LIVINGSTON: Water murky; 84-88 degrees; 0.08 feet high. Black bass are good on watermelon crankbaits and soft plastics. Striped bass are good on Zara spooks. White bass are excellent on pet spoons, troll tubes, and slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Blue catfish are good on cut bait and shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

SAM RAYBURN: Water stained; 85-89 degrees; 1.07 feet high. Black bass are fair on watermelon Rat-L-Traps and shad colored crankbaits. White bass are fair on minnows and Li'l Fishies. Crappie are good on minnows over brush piles in 15-30 feet. Bream are slow. Catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait and liver.

STEINHAGEN: 0.98 feet low. No report available.

TOLEDO BEND: Water murky; 84-88 degrees; 1.18 feet low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse/black soft plastic worms in 10-20 feet. Striped bass are fair on live bait. White bass are fair on silver spoons and slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and chartreuse tube jigs over brush in 10-20 feet. Bream are good on crickets and nightcrawlers in 2-8 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait. Yellow catfish are slow.

PANHANDLE

GREENBELT: Water off color; 74-83 degrees; 35.19 feet low. Black bass are fair on chatterbaits, Texas rigs and shakyheads. Crappie are fair on split shot rigged live minnows. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

MACKENZIE: Water stained; 73-82 degrees; 78.41 feet low. Black bass are fair on finesse jigs, Texas rigs and shakyheads. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

MEREDITH: Water fairly clear; 72-79 degrees; 46.68 feet low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs and jigs. No reports on smallmouth bass. There are a few reports of walleye being caught on live bait and artificials. Bream are fair to good on cut nightcrawlers and kernel corn. Channel catfish are good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

WEST

ALAN HENRY: Water clear main lake and 83 degrees, stained up the river and 85 degrees; 1.38 feet low. Black bass are slow on small swimbaits and topwaters, Crappie are slow at night on minnows. Catfish are slow on juglines.

ARROWHEAD: Water stained; 74-83 degrees; 0.36 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on topwaters early, Texas rigs, jigs and shakyheads. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

COLORADO CITY: Water stained; 78-84 degrees; 11.38 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs and squarebill crankbaits. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers.

FORT PHANTOM HILL: Water stained; 75-83 degrees; 0.43 feet high. Black bass are fair to good on chatterbaits, Senkos, Texas rigs and shakyheads. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows and jigs around deeper structure. Catfish are fair on cut shad and nightcrawlers.

HUBBARD CREEK: Water stained; 76-84 degrees; 0.08 feet high. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs, shakyheads and Carolina rigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs around deeper structure. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers, live and cut shad.

NASWORTHY: Water stained; 74-83 degrees; 0.77 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs, squarebill crankbaits and pumpkinseed jigs. Crappie are fair to good on jigs and live minnows. Catfish are fair on large crappie minnows and nightcrawlers.

OAK CREEK: Water stained; 74-82 degrees; 0.05 feet high. Black bass are fair on buzzbaits early and late, Texas rigs and shad pattern crankbaits. Crappie are fair on split shot rigged live minnows. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers, live and cut shad.

O.H. IVIE: Water stained; 74-83 degrees; 7.21 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on weightless 5-inch Yum Dingers, Texas rigs and shakyhead rigged Trick Worms. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on cut and live shad.

POSSUM KINGDOM: Water fairly clear; 73-81 degrees; 0.15 feet high. Black bass are fair to good on drop shot rigs, Carolina rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair to good on split shot rigged live minnows and jigs around deeper structure. White bass are fair to good on tail spinners and live shad. Striped bass are fair to good on live shad and Sassy Shad. Catfish are good on live or dead shad and nightcrawlers.

SPENCE: Water off color; 74-83 degrees; 33.16 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on DT 10s, Texas rigs and watermelon finesse jigs. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows. Catfish are good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

STAMFORD: Water stained to murky; 74-82 degrees; 0.81 feet high. Black bass are fair on 5-inch Electric Shad Senkos, squarebill crankbaits and jigs. Crappie are fair to good on split rigged live minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on slabs and live shad. Blue catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

SWEETWATER: Water stained; 75-82 degrees; 0.12 feet high. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available. Fish populations have been substantially reduced by the golden alga blooms.

WHITE RIVER: Water stained; 77-82 degrees; 19.57 feet low. Black bass are fair on chatterbaits, Texas rigs and squarebill crankbaits. Crappie are fair on split shot rigged live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on prepared bait.

COASTAL

NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good in the middle of the lake over rafts of shad. Redfish are fair on jigs tipped with shrimp around marsh drains. Trout are good under birds.

SOUTH SABINE: Sheepshead and black drum are good at the jetty on live shrimp. Trout are fair to good around Lighthouse Cove and around the jetty rocks on topwaters. Redfish are fair to good in the marsh on topwaters.

BOLIVAR: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on soft plastics and plugs. Black drum and redfish are good at Rollover Pass. Croakers are good on dead shrimp in the channel and around the pass.

TRINITY BAY: Trout are good for drifters working shell pads and deep reefs on Gamblers, Lil Johns and Bass Assassins. Redfish and trout are fair to good at the spillway on shrimp.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are good on the south shoreline on topwaters and soft plastics. Whiting and sand trout are good on the edge of the Intracoastal on fresh shrimp. Trout are good on mid-bay reefs on plastics and croakers.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are fair to good for drifters working shell on live shrimp. Trout, sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp. Tarpon are showing on the beachfront. Kingfish, ling, red snapper and sharks are good offshore.

TEXAS CITY: Trout are good on the channel on croakers. Sand trout are fair on fresh shrimp off the piers. Redfish are fair on mullet in the channel.

FREEPORT: Sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs. Trout and sand trout are good at the jetties on shrimp and DOA Shrimp. Kingfish, red snapper and ling are good offshore.

EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair to good for drifters on live shrimp over humps and scattered shell. Redfish are fair to good in the middle of the bay around slicks and live shrimp. Flounder are fair in the cuts on Gulps.

WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Redfish are fair to good on the edge of Oyster Lake on shrimp and crabs. Trout are fair on sand and grass on soft plastics. Black drum are fair on the reefs.

PORT O'CONNOR: Trout and redfish are good on topwaters over soft mud in waist-deep water in San Antonio Bay. Trout and redfish are fair at the mouths of bayous on the outgoing tide. Trout and bull redfish are good at the jetty on shrimp.

ROCKPORT: Trout are fair on free-lined shrimp in the deep channels. Trout are fair over grass while drifting with live shrimp. Redfish are good in the holes around Estes Flats on piggy perch and mullet.

PORT ARANSAS: Redfish are fair to good at East Flats on shrimp. Redfish and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp. Offshore is good for sharks, red snapper, ling and kingfish.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Trout are fair to good in the surf on croakers. Redfish are good in the guts on the outgoing tide.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout are fair in mud and grass on Corkies and topwaters. Trout are fair to good in the Land Cut on live shrimp. Trout are fair to good while drifting with topwaters at Rocky Slough.

PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are good on topwaters and soft plastics under corks around sand and grass. Redfish are fair to good while drifting pot holes and sand flats on live shrimp.

SOUTH PADRE: Trout are fair to good around the spoil islands, channel edges and color changes on DOA Shrimp. Trout and Spanish mackerel are fair to good at the jetty on live bait.

PORT ISABEL: Snook are fair to good in South Bay on shrimp and DOA Shrimp. Trout and redfish are fair to good at Gas Well Flats on live shrimp. Red snapper and kingfish are good offshore.
