Hartsville assistant wrestling coach Jake James hoists Robert Williamson, whose win by decision clinched the Red Foxes' first lower-state championship Wednesday night at North Myrtle Beach High School. The Red Foxes won 42-29.

LITTLE RIVER, S.C. -- The Hartsville wrestling team captured its first lower-state championship Wednesday night, winning 42-29 over defending lower-state champ North Myrtle Beach.

Now, the Red Foxes advance to Saturday's Class 4A state final at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Dreher High School. There, the Red Foxes will compete against Eastside.
