What a wonderful experience I had on May 23. I attended the Florence Men’s Choral Society’s spring concert. The performances are held at First Presbyterian Church in Florence and directed by Julian M. Young.
On learning of their spring concert, my group of ladies and I were determined to go. It actually was a Memorial Day tribute, and the songs were so moving and meaningful. The solos were beautiful, too.
In looking for a Christmas musical to attend last December, I discovered this group and was so impressed that we knew we didn’t want to miss seeing them again.
The Florence Men’s Choral Society is a group of dedicated men, all ages, who give of their time and talents to perform concerts for the public. This group has 501(c)(3) status, which makes any contribution tax deductible. The love offering is used to buy music and encourage young musicians in their endeavors.
I urge you to attend their concerts, both fall and spring. You will be glad you did.
