C. L. Moore Jr.

Christopher Lloyd (C. L.) Moore, Jr, 82, of Olanta, SC, passed away on November 16, 2019, at the Heritage Home of Florence, SC.Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Floyd Funeral Home Chapel, Olanta, SC with the Rev. Dr. David G. Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Olanta Presbyterian Church Cemetery. C. L. was born in Sumter County to Christopher Lloyd and Clara Fincher Moore on March 4, 1937. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Donald Moore. C. L. is survived by brothers David Gamble Moore (Naomi), Robert Dalton Moore (Kathy) and sister Joyce Moore Cariaga (David), and several nephews and nieces.In leu of flowers, memorials may be given to Heritage Home of Florence, 515 Warley St, Florence, SC 29501; Florence County Disabilities Board, 1211 National Cemetery Road Florence, South Carolina 29506; and/or to Olanta Presbyterian Church, Olanta, SC 29114.The family of C. L. Moore, Jr. wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all those associated with Heritage Home of Florence and Florence County Disabilities and Special Needs Board. The family is also grateful to Whitten Village of Clinton, SC for many years of care. We also express thanks to the churches in Florence for their visits to C. L. during his years in Heritage Home.The family will visit with attendees at the conclusion of the service.
