Walter "Paul" Heger, Sr., 80, of Florence passed away peacefully at home on July 1, 2019.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Abundant Life Church in Florence. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10 a.m. 11 a.m. Entombment will follow the service at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.He is survived by his wife of 37 years Karen Windham Heger; 5 children, Tony (Heather) Heger of Florence, Lindsey (Stan) Overby of Greenville, S.C., Kim Heger of Florence, Leigh (Terry) McLean of Pinehurst, N.C., and Paul Heger, Jr of Florence.He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Dylan and Peyton Heger; Cameron and Allison Overby; Madison and Grant Perry; and Hunter and Britton Heger. He was one of eighteen siblings born to the late Charles E. Heger, Jr. and Grace Osborne Heger of Randolph, Massachusetts. He is predeceased by 6 siblings, with 11 surviving siblings.
