Funeral services for Mr. Charles "Spider" Eaddy, Jr. will be conducted 11:00 AM, today at Believers Holiness Convention Center, Coward, SC, with burial to follow in Savannah Grove Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. He died on Saturday, June 29th in a local hospice facility after an illness. Charles was born on February 16, 1956 in Florence County, SC to Kenneth and Annie Mitchum Eaddy. He was educated in the Florence County School System, and was a 1975 graduate of Lake City High School. Throughout the course of his lifetime, Charles held several different jobs which include: Farmers Telephone Company, Delta Mills Marketing Company, McCall Farms, Florence Toyota, Wellman, Honda and Walmart. In 2018, Charles retired from MUSC Florence, formerly known as Carolinas Hospital Systems.He was a member of Savannah Grove Freewill Baptist Church, where he served on the Usher Board and the Hospitality Committee.Survivors include: his wife of 35 years, Sharon Frierson Eaddy; one son and his fiancé', Charlton Eaddy and LeAndria Savage; brothers: Calvin (Carolyn) Eaddy, Daniel Eaddy and Kenneth (Lucretia) Eaddy; sisters: Christine (Mitchell) Nero, Jannie (John) Epps, Katherine (Larry) Cockfield, and Pearly Kelly; mother-in-law, Mrs. Ethelean Frierson; two special aunts, Kay Frances Montgomery and Ethel Mitchum; one-sister-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.Memorials and Condolences may be mailed to Ideal Funeral Parlor, 106 E.
