COWARD, S.C. -- In 2018, the town of Coward experienced a year of change.
The year started off great with the completion and start-up of our new well and water tank on New Hope Road.
Our seventh annual Coward Harvest Festival and Parade was bigger than ever with a great time had by all, even though the rain shortened the day’s festivities.
We are looking forward to our 2019 festival, which will be held Sept. 28.
The year ended on a bittersweet note with the retirement of Vivian Pate, who had served as the town clerk for more than 27 years.
We are looking forward to some new businesses coming in 2019.
