Florence County investigators are asking for the public's assistance to identify a person, or people, of interest in an April 6 Scranton shooting.

FLORENCE, S.C. -- Florence County investigators are asking for the public's assistance to identify a person, or people, of interest in an April 6 shooting in Scranton.

"On or about April 6, 2019 at approximately 11 p.m. a suspect fired multiple shots into a residence on Francis Street within the city limits of Scranton. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident," Maj. Mike Nunn wrote in a release on the incident.

"Images of a suspicious vehicle possibly involved in the shooting were captured on video surveillance," Nunn wrote in the release.

Anyone with knowledge of the incident or the location of identification of the vehicle is asked to contact investigators at (843) 665-2121, ext. 372, Crime Stoppers of the Pee Dee at 1-888-CRIME-SC or “Submit-A-Tip” on the agency's free app for iPhone and Android telephones. You do not have to reveal your identity to leave information.
