MARION, S.C. – Some schools in the Marion County School District will resume classes Thursday as the county continues to recover from Hurricane Florence and its aftermath.

Marion- and Mullins-area students will return on a two-hour delay.

Students who attend Creek Bridge High School and Britton’s Neck Elementary School will be out the rest of this week.

Schools in the county have been out since Sept. 11. Through Wednesday, that amounted to 12 school days with no classes.
