HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Hartsville High School Choral department presented its holiday concert Tuesday night at the First Baptist Church under the direction of Dr. James Beaumier and accompanied by Dennis Schaefer.

The HHS Singers, the department’s top choir, performed Riu, Riu, Chiu, Sicut Chrvus, Il est bel et bon and Ave Marie.

The HHS Singers is comprised of Rae Abu-Jarad, Raven Addison, Raeva Bali, Jasmin Bates-Lynch, Nancy Jane Beasley, Larissa Berger, Bridget Bishop, Emily Blue, Karson Byerly, Mollie Davis, Zimya Dewitt, Randa Gainey, Taylor Green Drakkar Hough, Raleigh Johnson, Diaz Jones, Terrence Ketter, Mary Lett, Jessica Lucas, Jairo Mendez, Kaki Newsome, Jules Overman, Iyannah Reddick, Sophie Roemhildt, Tabitha Rollins, John Ropp, Hannah Rudick, Leland Saxton, Lee Saxton, Audrey Schroeder, Fantasia Smith, Jeniya Smith, Abby Steward, Markia Thomas, Jakob Thompson, Sarah Tyner and Logan Vlachoyannis.

The Beginning Choir performed Halle, Hallelujah, Chubrara, English Song of Joy, Fum, Fum, Fum, Silent Night and A Charlie Brown Christmas.

The Beginning Choir is comprised of Raniya Bacote, Savannah Beasley, Annie Coates, Taila Coe, Jaleyiah Cotton, Kindan Dawson, Taya Dennis, Tyre Gist, ShaDiamond Goodson, Eric Hughey, JaHalley Jackson, Rashon Johnson, Anna Grace Lawhon, Rylee Manship, Charoity Pooler, Brianna Rivers, Neffertiti Robinson, Stephen Smith, Ameonta Sutton, Harley Watford, Kayce Winburn and Gabriel Wingate.

The Freshman Select Choir performed Christmas Gloria, Angels’ Carol, One in Royal David’s City, The Love Carol, What is This Lovely Fragrance, and American Folk Rhapsody.

The Freshman Select Choir is comprised of Amiya Adams, Bonnie Adams, Jordan Cothran, Allison Gainey, Emily Grantham, Austin Gullette, Destiny Harris, Hayes Hopkins, Carter Leonard, Lauren Lucas, Grayson Martin, Olivia Martin, Emily Morrison, Antonio Rangel, Priscilla Starr and Brittany Watford.

The concert concluded with more selections by the HHS Singers, which included Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus, Mary's Lullaby, Silent Night and Shout Glory.
