Brittany LeeAnn Brattain and Jeffrey Douglas Boyd, both of Raleigh, NC were united in marriage June 22, 2019 at the Conservatory at Biltmore House in Asheville, NC. Rodney McClaim performed the ceremony. The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Gene and Karen Brattain of Florence, SC. She is the granddaughter of Grover and Gwen Campbell of Manning, SC and the late Jay and Lucy Paige of Stanfield, NC. Brittany graduated from Furman University with a degree in Psychology and later graduated from the University of North Carolina, School of Law. She is employed with PRA Health Sciences in Raleigh, NC.

The groom is the son of Doug and Mary Boyd of Washington, NC. He is the grandson of the late Lillie Simmons Sheppard of Washington, NC, Jesse Reginald Boyd and the late Wilma Goodwin Boyd of Washington, NC.

Jeffrey is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in Engineering. He graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC with a master's in business. He is employed with Collins Aerospace in Wilson, NC.

Best man was Douglas Boyd, father of the groom. Bridesmaids were Paige Smith and Casey Rasmussen, both sisters of the bride. Usher was Mark Rasmussen, brother in law of the bride. Flower girl was Ryker Smith, niece of the bride.

Harpist was Kathy Wallace, of Asheville, NC. Wedding Coordinator was Christina Alsia, with Lovely EverAfters of Greenville, SC. Videographer was John Bolden of Asheville, NC. Photographer was Katie Jaynes, of Anderson, SC.

The bride wore a triple laced beaded trumpet gown with a hint of metallic radiating from the beaded laced appliques. She wore an extra long veil embellished with jewels.

A reception followed in the Champagne Cellar at the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC. After a wedding trip to The Maldives, the couple will reside in Raleigh, NC.
