COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP)—Searchers looking for a missing couple on Lake Murray are asking anyone on the water this weekend to help them look for the man and his wife.
Department of Natural Resources spokesman Lt. Robert McCullough tells The (Columbia) State that searchers still hope for the best.
Forty-six-year-old Randy Adkins Jr. and his 44-year-old wife, Kimberly, McCullough, haven’t been seen since last weekend.
McCullough says their boat was found unoccupied, working with fuel and life jackets on June 28.
McCullough says he hopes the extra eyes on the lake this weekend will help the five boats and a plane involved in the search.
