I would like to inform the citizens of our fine town about an invention, which has revolutionized the automobile.
And when it is used appropriately it will greatly reduce the amount of accidents.
Based on reports from the DOT we all know we need to do that here in the Pee Dee.
Imagine a way to inform other drivers of what you are thinking in order for them to react in accordance.
Doesn’t that sound wonderful?
The best thing about this invention is the fact that it is totally free.
All you have do is go to the nearest vehicle and look on the left side of the steering wheel and you will see a long piece of metal or plastic protruding out.
If you push this piece up or down, a magic light on the front and back of your vehicle will blink off and on.
This light will tell other drivers that you intend on turning.
What a novel idea.
If you do not have this feature or do not know how to use it, see your nearest dealer.
There is one design flaw. In order to operate this feature you to have to have both hands available.
No phones, make-up, MP3 players or drinks.

You silly drivers with your fancy automobiles that do nothing but pollute the environment. Move to a more efficient means of transportation—the BICYCLE. You’ll learn more respect for others on the road, and maybe even decrease the size of your fat waistlines.

I see more cops on the cellphones than the average citizen. I see the cops breaking the sound barrier wherever they travel and the blue lights not even flashing. I have seen the cops fail to use a turn signal constantly. How can you expect the cops to charge someone with a violation when they themselves do it to?????????

Think of the revenue that could brought in if police did their jobs and stopped every driver they saw do this - making illegal turns.  Darlington and Florence counties would have more money than they could ever spend!
