Williams accepts Advocate of the Year Award

State Rep. Robert Williams, D-Darlington, was chosen by the S.C. School Improvement Board of Trustees as the recipient of the 2008 School Improvement Council (SIC) Advocate of the Year Award.

Williams accepted the award in person at the S.C. SIC annual conference at the Columbia Conference Center.

This award is presented annually to a person who has, by word and deed, encouraged the SIC’s mission to promote civic engagement for quality education in South Carolina.
