Three suspects didn’t get far after a robbery Tuesday night at a Lake City clothing store, Lake City Assistant Police Chief Bobby Williams said.
It happened about 10:15 p.m. at Downtown Fashion at 120 E. Main St., Williams said. The suspects entered the business through the roof, but a local firefighter saw the suspects running from the business and described them to responding officers.
Two suspects were caught behind La Bamba Mexican Restaurant at 114 W. Main St.; the third was caught nearby on McAllister Street.
Nineteen-year-old-Shaeed Woodard, 19, of 272 Airport Circle, Lot 2; 17-year-old Hakquan Burgess of 321 Airport Circle; and 18-year-old Dominic Goodwin of 345 Scott Street are each charged with second-degree burglary in connection with the crime, Williams said.
Woodard also is charged with giving false information to police, Williams said.
Burgess suffered injuries to his right ankle and was treated at an area hospital before his arrest, Williams said.
