Pet adoption event will take place in Florence

The Second Chance K9 Rescue of the Pee Dee, along with a local cat rescue, are having a pet adoption from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Planet Arf, 423 S. Cashua Drive, Florence.
Dogs and puppies will be available. They will have been bathed, and each dog will be go home with a lead and a bag of food.
Dogs older than six months are spayed or neutered and up-to-date on all their shots. Puppies will be up-to-date on all their shots and deworming, and some will have been spayed or neutered.
Kittens and cats also will be available for adoption. All are up-to-date on vaccinations, FeLV tested negative, treated against fleas, and spayed or neutered if they are old enough.
