Pee Dee closings for the Christmas holiday

Government offices
n Federal government offices will be closed Thursday.
n U.S. Post Offices will be closed Thursday.
n State government offices will be closed through Friday.
n S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles offices will be closed through Saturday. In addition, SCDMV offices that offer Saturday services will be closed this Saturday, although customers can process many transactions online at http://www.scdmvonline.com.
n Florence County offices are closed through Friday. The offices also will be closed Jan. 1. Florence County Landfill and Recycling Centers close at 3 p.m. today and reopen for regular business hours Friday. The centers will close at 3 p.m. Dec. 31, reopening Jan. 2.
n Florence city offices will be closed through Friday. Thursday’s garbage and recycling will be collected along with Friday’s route, although crews will collect no yard waste that day.
n Coward town offices will be closed today and Thursday. Garbage collection will take place Friday instead of Thursday.
n Johnsonville city offices will close today at noon and reopen Monday. Thursday’s garbage will be collected along with Friday’s route.
n Lake City city offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Garbage will not be collected on those days.
n Olanta town offices will close at noon today and reopen Monday. Garbage collection, normally on Tuesdays, shouldn’t be affected by the holiday.
n Pamplico town offices will be closed through Friday. Garbage will be collected Saturday instead of Friday.
n Quinby town offices will close at 1 p.m. today and reopen Monday. Trash pickup will take place Friday instead of Thursday.
n Scranton town offices will be closed today and Thursday. Garbage collection, normally on Tuesdays, shouldn’t be affected by the holiday.
n Timmonsville town offices will be closed through Friday. Garbage collection will take place Monday instead of Friday.
n Darlington city offices will be closed through Friday. Thursday’s garbage will be collected along with Friday’s route, and no yard waste will be collected through Friday.
n Hartsville city offices will be closed through Friday. Garbage collection will run one day ahead through today. Thursday’s garbage routes will be collected Monday, and Friday’s garbage routes will be collected Tuesday.
n Lamar town offices will be closed through Friday.
n Society Hill town offices will reopen Monday.
n Darlington County offices will be closed Wednesday through Friday and Jan. 1. Darlington County Landfill and Recycling Centers will close at 1 p.m. today, be closed Thursday, close at 1 p.m. Dec. 31, and be closed Jan. 1.

Health Facilities Federal Credit Union will close at 3 p.m. today, be closed Thursday, open Friday, close at 2 p.m. Dec. 31 and be closed Jan. 1.
Nucor Employees Credit Union will close at 2 p.m. today and be closed Thursday and Jan. 1.
Palmetto First Federal Credit Union will close at 1 p.m. today, be closed Thursday, close at 1 p.m. Dec. 31 and be closed Jan. 1.
Pee Dee Federal Credit Union will close at 1 p.m. today, be closed Thursday, close at 1 p.m. Dec. 31 and be closed Jan. 1.

The other Bi-Lo store at 2640 W. Palmetto St. will close at 7 p.m. today and be closed Thursday.
All Food Lion stores will close at 6 p.m. today and be closed Thursday.
Harris Teeter will close at 7 p.m. today and be closed Thursday.
The IGA on the Pamplico Highway will close at 6 p.m. today and be closed Thursday.
The Quinby IGA will close at 6 p.m. today and be closed Thursday.
The Piggly Wiggly stores will close at 7 p.m. today and be closed Thursday.
