Deputies have arrested an Olanta man in connection with a shooting outside Olanta, Florence County Sheriff’s Lt. Brett Camp said.
Anthony Terrell Hickson, 26, of Lot 18 on First Street, faces a count of assault and battery with intent to kill following an argument over money, Camp said.
Hickson is accused of shooting another man once in the back with a small-caliber handgun about 7 p.m. Saturday at the Bill Prince Mobile Home Park, Camp said. He was arrested without incident at his home shortly after the shooting, Camp said.
The victim is in stable condition at an area hospital, Camp said.
