Narcotics agents find $4,000 in drugs

Two Florence men were arrested Friday after narcotics agents discovered $4,000 worth of crack cocaine in a vehicle in which the men were passengers, Florence Police Maj. Carlos Raines said.
Darvis Ashward McCants, 22, of 424 Charlotte St., and Rafielle Rashod Lynch, 20, of 3808 Carroll Drive, are charged with trafficking in cocaine, according to Florence County Detention Center booking reports.
Agents observed what appeared to be a drug transaction while patrolling the 500 block of Walnut Street, Raines said.
The driver of the vehicle and a man who was standing next to the vehicle both ran, but police have identified them and expect to locate them soon, Raines said.
