A third suspect has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Lake City restaurant in December.
Larry Bradley Brayboy, 26, of 122 Williamsburg Ave., Lake City, was booked Saturday and is charged wtih armed robbery, kidnapping and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, Florence County Detention Center booking reports show.
The crime happened about 10:30 p.m. Dec. 6 when three men entered Pizza Hut through a door that had been left open by restaurant employees who were standing outside. Once inside, the suspects demanded money and assaulted two of the victims, Lake City Police Chief Billy Brown said. One of the employees standing outside the building saw what was going on inside the restaurant and called police.
Robin John Turner, 28, of 723 Gibson St., Marion, and Quennell Ashton Brown, 25, of 2427 Sarah Kennedy Road, Effingham, were arrested after a brief foot chase, Brown said. They face the same charges as Brayboy, and all remain in custody at the jail in Effingham.
Two victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment and released.
