Police are searching for clues in the disappearance of a 51-year-old Florence woman who hasn’t been seen in nearly two weeks, Florence Police Maj. Carlos Raines said.
Rachel Samuel of 304 Campbell St. was last seen by her roommate at her home Sept. 18, Raines said. Samuel was reported missing Monday by her sister.
Police aren’t suspecting foul play, but find it unsettling that Samuel hasn’t kept in contact with friends and family, shown up for work or picked up her paycheck, Raines said. Investigators are checking the validity of some statements given in the case.
Samuel is described as a black woman standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a brown shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the police department (843) 665-3191 or Crime Stoppers of the Pee Dee at (843) 667-TIPS (8477) or (866) 369-TIPS (8477). Callers need not reveal their identities.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE RELEASE MY SISTER AND LET HER GO. I AM BELIEVING AGAINST ALL THE ODDS, THAT SHE IS ALIVE AND ANY MINUTE SHE WILL BE RELEASE. I KNOW THAT PRAYER ARE GOING UP CONTINUALLY FOR HER, ESPECIALLY SINCE THOSE WHO KNOW HER AND MY FAMILY KNOWS THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME ONE OF OUR SISTER HAVE BEEN TAKEN, KILLED. TERRY LASHOUND SAMUEL WAS OUR YOUNGEST SISTER, KILLED, AND THROWN AWAY, LIKE AN OLD RAGGED.

IT IS AMAZING HOW SOMEONE’S CAN NOT HELP A FELLOW HUMAN BEING AND EVEN MORE FRIGHTENING THAT PEOPLE KILLS PEOPLE, FOR GOD KNOW WHAT THE REASONS, ONLY MAMMALS THAT DO THAT.

Someone Please Help Find Rachel!!
There Has To Be Someone From That Day That Saw What Happened To Her When She Got Off At Her Bus Stop...Dont Be Afraid To Call The Police Or Go Up To The Station. Her Friends At Work & Im Sure Her Family Would Be Forever Greatful If Someone Stepped Up & Let Someone Know What Happened. If You Are Reading This & You Know Something, PLEASE Contact The Police. Some People May Be Thinking It’s None Of Their Business Or They Dont Want Any Trouble From Anyone But Out Of Respect Of Her Family & Friends, Please Let The Hands Of God Touch You & Help You Tell Someone So They Can Find Rachel Quicker. Just Think, What If It Was Your Daughter, Mother, Granddaughter, Niece, Or Anything To That Sort. Im Sure You Would Immediatley Notify Someone. To Rachel’s Parents & Friends, My Prayers Are With You.

Someone out there saw what happened to Rachel as she got off her bus stop. They need to come forward to the Police and get the person. I don’t understand how some people can watch when a woman is in trouble and not get help.

Rachel’s room mate need to be question
more,because if she’s been missing that
long it should have been reported long
time ago.I do hope that she will be found alive.I and my family have known her and her family for years.It would sadden me deeply if any harm has been done to her.I know her family love her and want her back safe.I pray for her and who ever may know something about where she may be.Somebody out there knows something.

This is remarable! The woman has not been seen since 9/18/08 and was only reported missing on Monday! The report states that she haven’t been to work or picked up her check. This seem normal to anyone. Even if I didn’t want to be found, I gonna pick up my check! The police says “no foul play suspected”! I am I the only one that see something wrong with this picture?
