Florence-Darlington Tech to have open house

Florence-Darlington Technical College will host an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Southeastern Institute for Manufacturing and Technology (SiMT) on the main campus, 2715 W. Lucas St., Florence. Refreshments will be served.
Two general overview sessions will be conducted during the open house. These sessions will detail the benefits of higher education for adults, as well as the options and services available for them at Florence-Darlington Tech.
In addition to overview sessions, this event will include several information tables where college faculty and staff will provide attendees with information on admission, financial aid, evening college classes, and information on the more than 75 programs at the college including job opportunities and entry-level salaries associated with the completion of those programs.
