Dillon mother arrested after child drowned last month

Dillon county authorities arrested 23-year old Asley Locklear.
According to Chief Deputy Doug Parnell, Locklear is charged with unlawful neglect of a child.
This charge comes after Locklear’s 2-year old child Cierra Lynn Bruce drowned last month.
The drowning happened at a home on Twilight drive in Dillon.
Authorities say the family was having a cook out when a family friend found the little girl in the pool.
Ashley Locklear is out of jail on bond.
