Childcare scholarship applications available in Florence County

Florence County First Steps will be taking pre-applications for childcare scholarships Monday through Aug. 1.
Pre-applications can be picked up at the Florence County First Steps Office, 658 S. Coit St., Florence, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must be residents of Florence County, meet the ABC income and employment guidelines, participate in a home parenting program (two 30-minute visits per week) and participate in monthly parent meetings/workshops.
