Small alligator found near Lake Wallace on Tuesday

A small alligator showed up near the diversion dam at Lake Wallace in Bennettsville.
Drivers stopped when they saw the gator, and called animal control officers.
Jim Tucker snapped a picture of the alligator and sent it to friends, and one of them sent it to scnow.com.
Animal control officers told Tucker they would take it to a nearby swamp and turn it loose.
