Accident involving an 18-wheeler slows traffic in the Pee Dee

An 18-wheeler rear-ended a Pee Dee food service truck around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon, Highway Patrol Lance Corporal Sonny Collins said.
The accident happened in front of the Darlington County Sheriff’s office.
Traffic was slowed down to one lane for about an hour as crews worked to clear the scene.
One person suffered non-life threatening injuries.
