Two in critical condition after Carolina Forest Boulevard crash

Two people are in critical condition after an early morning crash on Carolina Forest Boulevard Wednesday. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol’s website, the incident happened around 6 a.m. near the Carolina Forest Community Church.
Horry County Fire and Rescue spokesman Todd Cartner said two people involved in the crash were in critical condition with one being airlifted to New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington, NC and another taken to Grand Strand Regional.
Carolina Forest Boulevard is now re-opened to traffic. No word yet on the cause of the crash.
