Police say a school bus accident sends 11 kids to the hospital.
It happened shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday between 8th and 9th Avenues North in Myrtle Beach.
Police say a motorcycle was forced over a concrete median by another car and headed towards the bus head on.
The bus slammed on it’s brakes and did not hit the motorcycle.
Eleven Myrtle Beach Middle and high school students have been taken to the hospital for minor injuries, as well as the driver of the motorcycle.
Everyone is expected to be ok.

Hope everyone is okay. Quick reaction by the bus driver - well done. Hope the biker is okay also. Probably the car that started it all didn’t even know he/she had done it.
Have to vent though. Quote: “The bus slammed on it’s breaks…“ Please correct this. It should be ‘The bus slammed on its brakes…‘ (I guess technically it should be the driver doing the brake slamming, not the bus, but I can live with that part.)
