Police investigating alleged sexual assault at Myrtle Beach night club

Myrtle Beach police, along with SLED, are investigating an alleged sexual assault at a Myrtle Beach nightclub.
Police responded to Studebaker’s night club, on Kings Highway, early Wednesday morning. The victim claims the suspect, Tracy Earp, sexually assaulted her behind a curtain in a costume room at Studebaker’s.
According to a police report, the 22-year-old victim had minor injuries when police responded.
Police arrested Earp and the victim was taken to the hospital.
Hospital workers took evidence and prepared a “sexual evidence kit” for SLED to investigate.
