Myrtle Beach Police investigate strong armed robbery

Myrtle Beach police are investigating a report of a strong armed robbery at 2nd Avenue S and Kings Highway.  The victim told police it happened at around 11pm Monday.  According to a police report, the victim was walking in an alley behind a restaurant when he was pushed to the ground by two men.  The victim says the men said, “Give me your money,” and then took his wallet and fled in an unknown direction.  The victim was treated at the hospital for cuts and bruises, but is expected to be okay.  The police report states the victim only got a good look at one of the two men who attacked him.  The victim describes him as a thin Black man with a goatee and a short afro.  He says the man was wearing a black sweatshirt, jeans and white tennis shoes.  The second man is only described as possibly White or Hispanic.  If you have any information, call Myrtle Beach Police.
