Robber takes cash, soda and soup from Myrtle Beach drug store

Myrtle Beach Police are investigating a report of a robbery at the Walgreens at 300 Kings Highway.
An employee says shortly before 4 a.m. Friday a man walked into the store and asked to use a pen. He then reportedly brought a soda and a soup to the checkout counter.
The employee says after ringing him up, he passed her a note saying “This is a robbery and give up the money.”
The employee also told police he said, “I will kill you.”
According to the police report, the employee says she put the money from the register in a bag along with the soda and soup, and the robber left the store.
The robber is described as a white man, around 5’7, 200 lbs, with light hair about one inch in length. According to the police report, he was wearing a light blue denim jacket, a black shirt and black jeans with dark shoes.
