Myrtle Beach police are investigating an armed robbery at Pirates Watch Adventure Golf on South Kings Highway. Police say Thursday at around 6:45pm, a man walked up to the counter with a gun. Police say he demanded money from the clerk who was standing behind the counter. The clerk told police she unlocked the cash register and the cash drawer and the man grabbed the money. She says the man then bent down and opened the cabinets underneath the counter and took a bank bag. The victim tells police the man ran out towards 17th Avenue South. The victim describes the suspect as a black man, around 18 years old, with an athletic build. She says he was wearing blue jeans, boots, a dark T-shirt and burgundy hat. If you have any information, call Myrtle Beach Police.
