Myrtle Beach’s very own reality TV star, dancer Jessica King, will not get to compete for the crown on FOX’s hit summer series, “So You Think You Can Dance.”
According to TV Guide, King is injured, and had to step aside, and will be replaced in the Top Ten by another finalist from this season, Comfort Fedoke.
News13 spoke with friends and family of King’s, who confirmed the injury.
No one who knows Jessica or who is affiliated with the show would elaborate on the severity or the circumstances of the injury.
Jessica King is a 23-year-old Coastal Carolina University student who also teaches dance at Myrtle Beach School Of Performing Arts.
She made her way into the top 20 on “So You Think You Can Dance” earlier this summer, and then just advanced to the top ten last week.
Count on the News13 Network for the very latest on this story and Jessica’s return home to Horry County.
