Horry County Fire-Rescue sent out a press release today on fires that happened over the past week.
It says the fire on Log Cabin Road in Loris on Thursday was arson and firefighters turned over the investigation to Horry County police.
Firefighters say a fire about 20 minutes later that same day on South Highway 905 in Longs was also arson.
Friday’s fire on Highway 66 in Loris was ruled unintentional. Firefighters say it started in a dryer.
And, firefighters say someone set fire to a building on Cobblestone Road in Green Sea on Saturday. That investigation is also now in the hands of Horry County Police.
Firefighters ruled another Saturday fire unintentional. Firefighters say an overloaded electrical circuit caused the fire on Ware Drive in Nichols.
A fire on Strickland Road in Green Sea started by a heating source Monday, according to firefighters.
