A hit and run sends one man to the hospital.
The South Carolina Highway patrol is investigating an early morning hit and run.
Troopers say the incident happened just after midnight Saturday on McDonald Court, near the backgate of the old Myrtle Beach Air Force Base.
Troopers say a man was walking on the frontage road when he was struck by a car.
The victim was flown to New Hanover Regional Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
The MAIT team is investigating the incident.
