Hard Rock grand opening events

Hard Rock Park welcomes new members to its family.
   
The Banana Splits, who you will remember from their popular Saturday morning television show, Banana Splits Adventure Hour, are now ambassadors for the park.
   
The announcement of The Banana Splits joining the Hard Rock Park family came during a kids mini golf tournament.
   
And also during the tournament, there was a very special check presentation of $100,000 from the Peter Jacobsen Sports company.
   
The Banana Splits join Hard Rock Park’s original characters, The Bear Metal family and Winston the Punk Bulldog as ambassadors for the park.

Ed Kiernan, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Peter Jacobsen Sports said, “Today’s (Sunday) activity is raising money for autistic children in and around the Myrtle Beach area, and we couldn’t be happier to be supportive of their project.“
   
The park is also bringing some big names in the music business to Myrtle Beach.
   
Sunday night, celebrity golfers for the “Save the Planet celebrity golf tournament” took time out for a dinner break at Hard Rock cafe at Broadway at the Beach.
   
Some of the celebrities who will be out on the links include Sway, from MTV, The Moody Blues, and Cheap Trick.
