Two Georgetown County Sheriff’s Deputies have been cleared of all charges following a shooting on April 18th.
Sgt. Dustin Morris and Deputy James Lee Wood were placed on administrative leave pending the results of a SLED investigation over that shooting.
In April, Deputies say Luke Gamble came at them with a knife, and did not stop, while they were on a crime scene on Lincolnshire Drive. Gamble was shot multiple times and died.
15th Circuit Solicitor Greg Hembree cleared both men on July 14th. No word on whether they will return to duty.
