Conway Police make arrests in copper thefts

The Conway Police Department arrested two men they say may be responsible for stealing copper in the downtown Conway area recently.
Police arrested 31-year old Anthony Scott Woodle. Police also arrested 33-year old Michael Hillman.
Woodle is charged with with two 2 counts of Grand Larceny and two 2 counts of petit larceny.
Hillman is charged with two 2 counts of Grand Larceny and three 3 counts of Petit Larceny.
Police think these two men gutted copper from the Conway Chamber of Commerce on July 29, 2008, August 3, 2008 and August 21, 2008.
The men may also be responsible for gutting metal from the Horry County Library on Main Street in Conway on July 22, 2008.
Bond is set for Woodle.
Hillman will go before the judge in the morning for his bond hearing.
