Dozens of Coastal Carolina University students showed up Sunday to clean up around homes where their classmates live.
Coastal Student Government Association President, Trevor Arrowood, says the goal of Sunday’s cleanup around Quail Run and College Park was to improve community and residence relations with CCU students.
Arrowood also says him and his fellow classmates are trying to show a more positive image of the school after several arrests of students at the beginning of the school year.
He says about 50 students helped with the cleanup efforts.
