Loris boy dead in Horry County wreck

South Carolina Highway Patrol Troopers say a deadly single vehicle accident happened at about 11 p.m. Saturday night on Privetts Road. That’s about 6 miles north of Conway.
Troopers say an 18-year old driver, Eric Murrneess, lost control of the vehicle and ran into a tree. They say a passenger was ejected; a 12-year old boy who died from the injuries of the crash.
Deputy Coroner Chris Burroughs identifies the boy as Timothy J. Martin of Loris. Burroughs says Martin was in the 7th grade at Loris Middle School.
Troopers also say Murrneess was transported to the Loris Emergency Room, and no charges are filed at this time.
Officials on the scene also say another 12 year old boy was taken to the hospital by their mother.
Troopers say they are continuing to investigate the accident.

TJ was one of my best friends. Him and Wesley. TJ had the best smile you would ever see and no matter what kind of mood we were in he always made us laugh. His accidental hair color was the funniest thing of all. When i first saw it i looked at TJ and said, “TJ, what in the world did you do? I’m going to call you my ‘lil leperchaun.“ Not only was he a fun, loving person to be around he was like a brother to all of us.

RIP TJ you will be loved and missed.
The other boy was Wesley Suggs and he turned out fine. When they backed into the tree TJ flew out the window, then the car rolled over him. I got all this info. from Wesley. TJ was coming back from Dreamland skating rink and wasn’t wearing a seat belt. If he was he would have survived.
