Mother of victim in deadly 2007 Nordstrom DUI crash charged with DUI
On May 22, a judge sentenced Jeremy Michael Nordstrom to 21 years in prison for killing two Horry County women in March 2007 in a deadly DUI crash. Friday night, Troopers charged the mother of one of the victims with DUI.

Three more properties are damaged from fires in Horry County. Two of those fires hit the Loris area, and one happened in Nichols.
Myrtle Beach Police seek attempted armed robbery suspect
Myrtle Beach Police are on the lookout for a man who tried to rob a local gas station. Police say it happened last night some time around 8:30 at the Scotchman convenience store on Highway 17 Business and 3rd Avenue South.
