Lake City High School has Athletic Banquet

The Lake City High School Athletic Banquet was on May 6 honoring athletes for their performance during the year. The speaker for the banquet was Coach Oliver “Buddy” Pough and remarks were given by Principal Kasey Miles Feagin, Florence School District Three Superintendent, Beth Wright and Lake City Mayor Lovith Anderson Jr. Athletic Director Willie Thomas welcomed guest and acknowledged visitors for their attendance. Markus Colvin received a weightlifting award from Assistant Athletic Director and Coach Justin Gentry. Shandreka Spates, Sharaine Witherspoon and Alisha Graham received basketball awards from Coach Charm Eaddy. Jason Nettles and Erica Gibbons received the June Coleman Academic Award. Center, Jecquea Brown receive a Junior Varsity softball award. Brett Moore, Charles Crosby, Chris Payne received soccer awards from Coach Matt Lunna and Donald Narvoska. Asia Wilson and Jecquea Brown received track awards. Samantha Williams received the Dr. Lane N. Floyd Leadership Award. Many other awards were given. Rev. Ray McAllister was in attendance to provide the blessing before the meal.
