Coker College Chamber Singers present fall concert

The Coker College Music department will present the Coker Chamber Singers fall concert in the Hannah Lide Coker Recital Hall of the Margaret Coker Lawton Music Building on the Coker College campus on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend. With limited seating, guests are advised to come early.

The concert will feature works for a small chamber chorus from the Baroque period to the 21st century by Bach, Stravinsky, William Mathias, Egil Hovland, James Mulholland and P.D.Q. Bach.

Formed in 2004, the Coker Chamber Singers is an auditioned choir that studies and performs choral chamber works of all musical periods.

The ensemble is directed by Dr. William Caswell, assistant professor of music at Coker College.
