“We are excited with this opportunity to build partnerships with other local non profit organizations. It is a ‘win-win’ scenario for the community and the many families struggling to make ends meet. This event allows us as a region to support those families in greatest need,“ said Ann Lewis, CEO of CareSouth Carolina.
Mark Sobiski, development manger with CareFIRST Carolina, said, “The proceeds from this event will go directly to people that need help accessing medical care at CareSouth sites in five counties. For every $50 we raise, we can help one more person without insurance gain access to quality healthcare, and we would like to encourage everyone to join us and support this event.“

Elayne Mahn, president of the Hartsville Community Players, said, “Our board saw this as an opportunity to both present a play with a wonderful message of charity and sacrifice showcasing local talented actors and to make a contribution to a worthy cause through this partnership with CareFIRST Carolina Foundation.  It should be a wonderful evening for everyone!“

The play will be presented Friday night to benefit CareFIRST Carolina Foundation with a $25 ticket cost and Saturday and Sunday at regular pricing for Hartsville Community Players events to be sure everyone has the opportunity to see this wonderful performance.

Tickets for all performances are available for sale at: Burry Bookstore in Hartsville, Hartsville Chamber of Commerce, as well as at all CareSouth Carolina locations: Cheraw, Chesterfield, Society Hill, Bennettsville, McColl, Lake View, Hartsville and Bishopville.
