ingredients
1/4 cup paprika
1/4 cup cayenne pepper
1/4 cup salt
1/4 cup black pepper
1/4 cup garlic powder
1/4 cup onion powder
1/4 cup sugar
cooking instructions
Combine mixture and heavily coat turkey. Rub in and let stand in fridge for 24 hours. In a large deep pot, heat 2 1/2 gallons of oil, preferable peanut oil, to 300-325 degrees. Slowly lower turkey into oil and maintain temperature. Cook 4 1/2 minutes per pound or to an internal temperature of 180 degrees. Remove carefully, drain and enjoy!
