1 loaf of square thin bread, frozen (optional crust removed)
2 (8 oz) bags of sharp chedder cheese (or any other preferred cheese)
1 pound of frozen bacon (dice with kitchen shears while frozen)
Mix cheese and bacon together, then spread cheese and bacon mixture onto frozen bread, then using a pizza cutter, score bread corner to corner creating 4 triangle’s.
pre-heat oven to 350 degrees, bake until cheese melts and golden brown, approx 10 to 20 minutes.
You may cook half way and freeze for a later date, then complete baking and serve hot.
Per my mother, her mother used to serve these during the depression along with a bowl of soup.
We serve them as an appetizer and most everyone loves them.
