Jamie McSween Taylor, formerly of Johnsonville, and Ryan Austin Hewett, formerly of Orangeburg, were married at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the Kaminski House in Georgetown.
The Rev. Devon Ruth performed the ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry James Taylor of Johnsonville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Marguerite Taylor of Lake City and the late Rema Taylor of Lake City, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John McSween King of Kingstree.
She is a graduate of Francis Marion University and is a pharmaceutical sales representative with Daiichi Sankyo Pharmaceuticals.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Bruce Hewett of Santee. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Edward Hewett of Florence and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Humbert Godwin of Evergreen.
He is a graduate of The Citadel and is a pharmaceutical sales representative.
Honorary bridesmaids were Leigh Taylor and Jane Simmons, sisters of the bride, and Meredeth Hewett, sister-in-law of the groom.
Best man was David Hewett, father of the groom.
Ushers were Dr. Kyle Hewett, brother of the groom; Dr. Jason Goebel; Troy Pooser; Jay Livingston; and Will Simmons, brother-in-law of the bride.
Ring bearer was Taylor Simmons, nephew of the bride.
Violinist was Lorrie Beth Hewett, cousin of the groom.
Trumpeter was Michael Jackson.
A reception followed at the Winyah Indigo Hall in Georgetown.
After a wedding trip to the Mayan Riviera of Mexico, the couple will reside in Pawleys Island.
