Elizabeth Amanda Seif and Calvin Stewart Brown, both of Columbia, were married Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Central United Methodist Church in Florence.
The Rev. William Francis Malambri performed the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Wesley Seif of Florence. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Annie Rue Bell Denny and the late Charles Edward Denny of Hartsville, and Ms. Barbara C. Seif and the late Isben Wesley Seif.
She graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton and is employed by Columbia Skin Clinic.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Stewart Brown of Sumter. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Earl Litaker of Camden and the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Stewart Brown Sr. of Camden. He attended Clemson University and is pursuing a degree in nursing at Central Carolina Technical College in Sumter.
Matron of honor was Cameron Banner Renwick.
Bridesmaids were Hope Brown Alexander, sister of the groom, Frances Howard Cook, Nancy Hamilton Hope, Karen Elizabeth Lovell, sister of the groom, Andrea Lyn McGavin and Elizabeth Burgett Mooney.
Honorary bridesmaids were Laura Arden Andrews and Ashley Nicole Seif, cousins of the bride.
Best man was Kenneth Stewart Brown, father of the groom.
Groomsmen were James Lawrence Alexander Jr., brother-in-law of the groom; Charles Burke Denny, cousin of the bride; Tyler Harris Fascett; Preston Welch Lovell, brother-in-law of the groom; Robert Bradford Scott; and Denny Wesley Seif, brother of the bride.
A reception followed at Osbornes in Florence.
After a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple will live in
Columbia.
