Gary and Barbara Reynolds of Florence announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Marie Reynolds, to Delton Locklear Jr., son of Tammy Locklear of Timmonsville and Delton Locklear Sr. of Lumberton, N.C.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Jay and Rochelle Pridgen, and Harriett G. Reynolds of Bishopville and the late Fred Reynolds Sr.
She is a graduate of West Florence High School and Betty Stevens Cosmetology Institute.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Lynn Sawyer of Summerfield, Fla., and the late Rev. Robert D. Sawyer.
He is a graduate of West Florence High School and is employed by the Olanta Police Department.
The wedding will be Sept. 27, 2008, at Elim Baptist Church in Effingham.
